I love you guys. Thanks for at the very least ostensibly supporting my comedy. You have no idea how much it means to me.
Hold me.

You're more than welcome. And we, in turn, thank you for supporting capitalism.

I would hold you, but at least 43 states require that you put pants on first before someone of my age is allowed to do so.

It's only child molestation if you press charges.

You'll get a "your welcome" as soon as I start getting paid.

I'm sure something will be 'pressed' during the hugging.
And I'm ok with that.

Last time I did, multiple rashes and warts popped up on my genitals and ass.
So there shouldn't be any surprises this time.

You'd get paid if you weren't giving it away like a slut and were charging for it.

Yeah, well after last night's performance, I don't think I'm ready to start charging.
I bombed atomically.

What happened? Was it nerves? Timing or was it just not the right material for the right crowd?

I think it was probably all me. Given that it's Holy Weekend, I thought it would be clever to do a retelling of the crucifixion of Jesus as being the result of his S&M fetish. Because naturally, given the condition of the world and creation, if god had a sexual perversion, he would be an S&M freak, right? Maybe I didn't have enough zingers or whatever. As someone quoted Hemingway before: "First drafts are always shit."
When I get the tape of it, I can put it up and you can critique it. I think it would be really great if I could get some constructive criticism from you guys.

Absolutely and though this goes without saying, don't let it get you down for good. Bedsides we learn from our fuckups.

Yeah, it's difficult not to. Whenever I perform badly, I come off the stage feeling borderline suicidal. It's really weird.
