I say use it. Don't let ole anal-retentive MGM shit all over this board's self-expression. The sig isn't even that big and gaudy. It's just plain awesome. Is there anyway to get a flaming croissant or two in there, though.The French Biscuit wrote:What could have been;
I kind of like it better without the flames actually. That text effect is cool.

And then everyone will use one and then we'll be back to the JDC sigs. No, thank you.Junkogen wrote:I say use it. Don't let ole anal-retentive MGM shit all over this board's self-expression. Gawd, I hadn't thought of that. >.< You know, it's a really tough call about those things. Personally, I don't like them but it's what a group of guys on BX feel very passionate about. But this probably isn't the place to have this particular debate though, eh?MGM wrote:And then everyone will use one and then we'll be back to the JDC sigs. No, thank you.

I've only just started using it, but here's what I've noticed so far.MGM wrote:What's the big difference with CS3 (which is what I use)?
All the panels in all the programs are more alike than in previous editions and it's easier to go from one program to the other.
Load up time is faster than CS3, even for InDesign which usually takes all day.
It has a cleaner look, but the layout of things is pretty much the same.

Nah, s'alright, but thank you for the love. I stand by the no sig decision, it just wouldn't work with this boards layout. I'll just find a way to put that style into an avatar. The avatars on here are pretty big, so it should still have a really nice effect.Junkogen wrote:I say use it. Don't let ole anal-retentive MGM shit all over this board's self-expression. And yes, I will make some Flaming Croissants of DOOM! It'll be easier since I learned the super easy way to extract flames from a photo.

Thank you CC!ChimeraCreative wrote:It's tasteful, striking and deceptively simple. I can't find a fault with it, asides from the noticeable lack of croissants of doom. ^_^ The letters and colours remind me of something but I can't quite figure out what. >.<
They remind me of Rome for some reason.

I don't want them either. It's just a bunch of crap we don't need.Junkogen wrote:I say use it. Don't let ole anal-retentive MGM shit all over this board's self-expression. "French is like anal, exotic but oh so unnecessary."
If that's all, I'll stick with CS3 for the moment. Loadup is pretty fast for me, but I've got a quick computer. Of course, you can't load CS3 with a not quick computer.The French Biscuit wrote:I've only just started using it, but here's what I've noticed so far.

You can't load a damn thing of a slow computer. I was stuck on my parent's computer over Christmas and it only has 500MB of RAM.MGM wrote:If that's all, I'll stick with CS3 for the moment. Do you know what that's like?
Actually, it could just be because I doubled my RAM rather than something in CS4. Disregard that statement.

4 GB sounds sweet, I'm going to upgrade my PC to that next month. 2.5 GB has already been life changing, 4 GB should push me closer to enlightenment.MGM wrote:More or less, my PC has 768 MB RAM and I'm running CS2 on it. My laptop has 4 GB, which is rather enough for CS3.

Armed for Puppies
So I had this odd dream last night. It started out (or I can remember it starting) with me and a few other people (possibly the cast of Avatar - The Last Airbender, but I can't be sure) were looking for stuff in some house.
Somewhere along the way, I find weapons which are apparently mine and I start suiting up. My armament included;
3 swords (two worn on my back, another at my hip)
bow and arrows
some body armor, gloves that type of thing
bags of goodness-knows-what, probably explosives knowing my subconscious
I try to wake up someone who was sleeping in the weapon room but I don't think I succeeded, so I left. I get outside only to find myself in my back yard back on the farm and my Pomeranians are running around.
I catch up with Sweety (see attachment), the eldest black and tan pom we have, and she has apparently had a puppy. A cute little male black and tan that is the spitting image of his mommy. So the dream ends with me crouched in my backyard, bristling with weapons playing with a puppy.
