X-Men Solicitations for June 2009
Marvel X-Men June 2009 Solicitations
While I don't read nearly as many of these books as some, I found this overall interesting.
Ellis' first Astonishing run FINALLY concludes. And we still need one more issue just to get there...
Two issues of Uncanny, with one of them possibly being the 'It's about time/Seriously? Already?/Damnit not again!' issue.
And my personal favorite, the launch of the Uncanny X-Men: First Class series, replacing the original X-Men First Class series. I'm very very excited about this one!!
What about the rest of you?

"Dark Wolverine"? WTF, is Daken going to completely take over the title?
I was contemplating Wolverine: Weapon X but seeing its a $4 title looks like I'll be passing it up.
I'm intrigued by the X-Men Forever thing, but I wonder the price (just so happens be missing). If its $4, I probably won't pick it up. If its $3 I'll most definitely grab it.

I'm wondering if it's actually Jean as well.. though the following issue, 512 mentions that they're reeling from the return of a member. Though that could simply be a misleading advert.
Or it'll be one of those she came back, but was being sustained by the villain and when they defeat her she's gone again, and it wasn't really her anyway, etc.

Phoenix Update:
In X-Men Kingbreaker #4, halfway through the issue during a battle the Phoenix Force apparently leaves Rachel, along with Korvus' sword as well. We get no explaination, other than that Rachel still has her telekenisis and telepathy but not the added power of the Phoenix to back them up. When this happens as well, she falls to the ground and does manage to utter 'Mom..' before realizing what's happend.
Further proof that Jean's actually coming back with the Phoenix?
