It lookedi nteresting to me, but not interesting enough. I'll catch the first TPB of it.

And also, Brian Wood's not done it for me lately.

I just read Starve and enjoyed it, not what I expected though.
Going to finish the massive in the next week or so.

The ending to The Massive kind of lost me. Felt like it came from nowhere. I'm picking up the Ninth Wave mini in trade, but yeah I feel like Brian Wood hasn't been as good lately so I've stopped trying his newer titles.

Conan lost me and Mara was weird.

Black Road has been excellent.

I haven't tried rebels yet either though.

I liked Mara. I wouldn't mind seeing that revisited. Rebels just wasn't interesting to me as a concept. Not a time period of history I'm interested in much.

DMZ was pretty good, but I never made it tot the end. I still need to catch up on that. I think it's likely I'll grab that one in trades one day.

DMZ was very good, it went in some directions I did not like, but looking at the story, that seemed to be the entire point.

Northlanders was still my favorite Wood run though.

Old school Brian Wood was great too, Demo and New York 4, if you haven't read them.

New York 4 was great. I've got that one twice, since I first found it in pocket format. Then I bought it as TPB.

I loved DMZ from start to finish. Reading it as the Deluxe editions were released made it really really enjoyable. I really liked New York Four and Five, since I got the collection with the two together. Same with Demo. Again I really liked Massive at the start but the ending seemed to come out of nowhere to me. Northlanders is another I want to read as well.

There once was talk of New York 6, but alas...

I've got Demo, but never was able to finish it. It simply wasn't for me, I guess.

I didn't know they'd discussed a NY6, but to be fair I found it long after 5 was done. As for Demo, I liked the simple one and done in every issue. Made it a very quick read that I could do at any time since nothing really continued on.

I finished the Massive today. That ending did come out of left field, really, really weird.

Right? I wonder if I re-read it, if I'll notice early hints at that ending. I just don't remember anything that started to lead that way until the last 8 issues or so. I skipped the Ninth Wave mini so that I could get it in trade, and I hope that's more like the first 20 issues or so of the series.

Read the mini.
It's all one shot from the before the crash, they were good. Normal conservation-type stories.
