Funko Pop Toys

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

I've been seeing these tiny little bobble head toys for years but had no idea how popular they are. This toy company has licenses to produce comic charectors (both marvel & dc), games, cartoons, movies, literary figures, historical figures etc...

A lot of the older Funko toys are really expensive as are their variant/limited edition toys. I never cared much for them but after having brought one, I can see the appeal. I recently purchased a Batgirl funko toy and now I want more: specifically:Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Phoenix & Storm, Homer Simpson.

Anyone else? Thoughts?

I've been wanting to buy one for my office at work but never got round to it. So much choice, I wouldn't know which one to get.

I have many.

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Robin on my desk at home. I still need Aquaman.

All the Universal Monsters except the Mutant, who I don't want, at home too.

I also have Dark Phoenix, Magneto, and Darkseid on my desk at work but bring them home during the summer.

Someone also got me Buddy the Elf as well.

I loved them at first but now they have them for everything and they've lost the appeal to me. Certain charactes I'd buy but not all.

I honestly don't see the appeal.

Although one for at the office would be fun, I'll have to admit that.

I think they're pretty cool and have been tempted to grab one, yet I have so many nicknacks that I'd likely never truly appreciate them. For my office I have Lego Minifigures sitting out. Currently it's a guy in a panda suit sitting on my speakers, usually there are 3 others but they keep falling off which is frustrating.
