I got nothing really beyond te sketches. I switched departments due to being let off from the old one.
The new jobwas trouble shooting the convention floor, which was exhausting.
No one replaced my posistion in the guest department, and the guest department fell apart. I ended up having to fill the role I was doing before quite a bit, which was infuriating.
The show was okay. I had a great conversation with Daniel Way, which was cool.
Montreal is getting to be a big convention. I remember a few years back when it was 15k, now it is above 50. Crazy to see the progression.

I have no hard numbers but the Con was not very crowded. I posted pics on my facebook, check them out, if they're not there, let me know and I'll repost.
The outdoors and indoors were were empty. There was a lot of walking & browsing room. You didn't get shoved, elbowed, pushed or kneed on the nuts with a sword.
However, the con was not held in the main hall. SpecEdition was held in one of the smaller adjoining buildings but it had a good guest list for a first year and the organizers have already said they are doing it every year. Tickets were cheap also. I think $35 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday and they didn't sell out
Also, it was pure comics. No celebs, musicians or other pop culture events were taking up space on the convention floor. Besides, if the current trend of getting tix for NYCC continues, I suspect SpecEd CC will be the place where most people will wind up going to for a CC experience.
