New titles I'm looking forward to

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

Gotham Academy by Becky Cloonan and Brendan Fletcher

Arkham Manor by Gerry Duggan and Crystal

New Alan Moore horror limited series being published by Avatar

Also, I just read the premise for God is Dead and I'm upset I didn't pick it up before. If the back issues can be tracked down easily at NYCC I'll get them, if not I'll get the trades

Wyches by Snyder

You?

The only one I'm currently looking forward to is Brubaker's The Fade Out this week.

I more look forward to completing runs on books that wrapped up years ago and getting them in trade, like I'm currently doing with DMZ, and will probably do with either Scalped or Northlanders next.

Fade Out by Bru and Philipps

Gotham Academy by Cloonan, Fletcher and Kerschl

Also Batgril by Stewart, Fletcher and Tarr. Though this one would have been on the pull list if Stewart had done more than layouts.

But the one book I'm really looking forward to will come much later in 2015 : Fight Club 2 by Chuck Palahniuk and Cameron Stewart.

When's Gotham Academy coming out? The title seems promising.

Also: The Fade Out and possibly Wytches (why aren't you getting the Jock book, French boy?)

Cause the premise is not one I'm interested in.
Gotham Academy is launching in October.

According to newsarama:

New Captain Marvel title in December by Grant Morrisson and Cameron Stewart
Secret Six by Gail Simone returns!
The horror series by Alan Moore will be a 6 issue limited series of the acclaimed torture porn series Crossed set 100 years in the future

I'm all over these books. Is anyone else excited to see how Morrisson will introduce drug abuse to a minor?

Watch out! The Morrison / Stewart book is just a one-shot part of the "Multiversity" storyline Morrison has going on at DC right now.
I'll still buy it though.

Also, sidenote, but the ending of The Wake has me very happy that I didn't pre-order Wytches. With The Wake and Superman Unchained, Snyder has lost a lot of credit with me.

I don't know if I'll like the new Secret Six being set in the New 52, along with the fact that I really want to see the previous cast. I may pick up the first issue or just trade wait, since I have the previous series in Trade.

The new 52 has had its problems but I'm more than willing to give Simone a chance to work her magic with the Secret Six.

It was revealed that Strix from Birds of Prey will be a member of Secret Six.
