Lucy Lawless is joining the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in what capacity remains unknown so I just may have found a reason for watching that show now

Mark Waid is writing an all new Agents of SHEILD ongoing

Robert Kirkman's new title Outcast is being adapted for Cable

Warren Ellis is working on a TV project

2 new DC animated features are coming out: One featuring Aquaman and another about batman

Jason Aaron is writing the new Marvel Star Wars title

And lots of Avengers announcements.

The pictures from the movie are terrible. Look, we are making a movie that is all grim and gritty and bleak. Our Batman will be fat! Our Wonder Woman will be mono-colorous!
I'll still go see it but I have very little hope for this.

I'll maybe get the Jason Aaron Star Wars book but with John Cassaday on art, it sounds like it'll come out once every 5 months.

I'm complaining about just everything.

I didn't catch much comic news at all. My friend told me the Avengers 2 clip Marvel aired was pretty awesome, but I can't find it online just yet. Marvel wants to hold it until November I believe he said.

I'm interested in the Aaron Star Wars book as well, but it makes me wonder if it will just redo what Brian Wood was doing in his book since it takes place after Episode IV as well.

SDCC has been less and less about actual comic books as the years have gone on. It's almost exclusively about media, now.

Batman is not fat

There is a new ongoing called Arkham Academy that looks good, written by Becky Cloonan, I'll be getting that and maybe Angela of Asgard
