ASM 1.1-1.5 are titled "Year One: Learning to Crawl" and deals with his first year.

"According to The Associated Press, the publisher plans to release "Learning to Crawl" this May, a five-issue series by Dan Slott and Ramon Perez that expands the origin of Spider-Man to better explain how Peter Parker went from being an awkward teenager to the web-headed wizard of legend. The series peeks further behind the curtain from the character's 1962 origin up through 2012's "Amazing Spider-Man" #700."

That summary could have been much much shorter.

"Money grab."
"French is like anal, exotic but oh so unnecessary."

I've enjoyed it. It's definitely in tone with the Magneto the Nazi hunter from X-Men First Class, which was something I loved about the movie. The art isn't my favorite, but it's not bad. Just simple. You have Magneto hunting down anti-mutant groups and people and taking extreme justice. Reminds me of when he sunk the Russian sub years ago. We're getting closer to that Magneto being back.

We'll see if it lasts past a year, but I like it so far.
