Anyone going?
I'm trying it for the first time today.
Going in the afternoon, crossing my fingers there will be still be some stuff left. Apparently, there was already a line of 40+ people 1h before the doors open.
Hoping to get the Hip Hop Family Tree book and the one from the CBLDF and maybe the Marvel or DC one.

My retailer gets a few of the Free books in for his regular customers. He always gets me the Mouse Guard FCBD book they seem to regularly do for this event. Other than that though, he doesn't get many of the free books in. Instead he puts out a bunch of old books for free and points out the really cheap comics to people.
Oh so you have the nice hardcovers? That's cool.
Just got back, place was packed, waited about half an hour in line to get in. There were French artists doing free sketches outside of the shop, some cosplayers (a pox on them!), overall, it was a happy place.
Got the 2 Marvel books and the CBLDF one. They had already ran out of HipHop Family Tree.
Also, each bag had a random gift card. Got a "Keep calm and read comics" tote bag but a woman 3 spots ahead of me got a huge-ass New 52 Batman and Robin statue. Damn!

I work all day today so I can't make it (my shop closes at 6pm and I won't get off until 5:30 at the earliest, no way to make it before they close). He's having a puppet show which is supposedly really good.
Luckily the manager is awesome so he hooked me up ahead of time (Future's End, Rocket Raccoon, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the hardcover Mouse Guard).

I ended up getting quite a few of them.
I got the Guardians and Rocket one the Transformers one, The New 52 one, the free thing for Kieron Gillen's Uber, which didn't have the FCBD logo on it, but it was a free book on FCBD, so... it's a FCBD book. I also got the Mouse Guard one. Damn! Archaia Press, the guys that publish Mouse Guard go to some effort on FCBD.

Everything was taken by the time I got there. Had our final Academic Competition for the year that day, so I couldn't go. But nothing really stood out to me as something I'd want so I'm okay with that. The DC book didn't look interesting, and the reviews I read were pretty negative, and I didn't care for a Guardians of the Galaxy book from Marvel.
Nothing from Image or Dark Horse really jumped out to me either. But sales wise it was a good day for my store, so I'm happy for that.
