I saw the pics you posted of the Ottowa Comic Con. Whats up with the Jason Momoa pics? They were funny but did he really write those things on your photos?

And the Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters) pic was another nice one. At the most recent NYCC, Sigourney Both Sigourney Weaver and Ernie Hudson were there doing photo ops and signatures. Weaver was charging $200.00 for a photo or signature, and Ernie Hudson was across the aisle from her charging $20.00 for a photo and/or sig. Price disparity much?

Still it seems Hudson would be an easier guy to talk to. How was he?

Some people charge so goddamn much for the signature, it is absrud.

Ernie Hudson was a great guy, but I did not get much of a chance to speak to him.

So. Jason Momoa.

Yes, he really did sign my pictures like that.

He said orignally he wanted to sign it "Fuck you" but didn't, then I told him he should because that was funny. Then he said he'd sign the other one nicely and put the speach bubble.

I actually hung out with him for hours at the show, taking him comic shopping, etc. He was a really nice guy.
He bought an axe, then took it with him to photos ops, and proceeded to cut himself during the first op. It was funny. We also had a beer on Sunday at the show. Really nice guy, I liked him. Big Lobo and Goon man.

He was asking everyone all weekend what they thought of the last Superman movie, then on Monday he was announced as joining the cast.

I thought the captions on the Momoa photos were hilarious!

Every time I think of Jason Momoa, I'm reminded of his bare ass as he's having sex with Khaleesi in Game of Thrones.

Why do Wulf's man-crushes always come with free nudity?

How do you think those man crushes got started?

I would have a very odd Jelly Donut banner.

Thank you! Craig did a great job, at a great price. He was the only guy I could find that could do it at price I could afford (and that would do 16 sketch covers).

I also think they turned out better than I could have hoped from anyone.

A lot of those really look awesome, and yeah I'm sure getting 16 covers from one artist had to be a challenge too! I like how he paired the Xavier and Magneto pieces like they'd be one piece of art when put together. Looks good!

Those were the first two I got, to go with the chess set from the X-Men movie.

When I wanted to do a full set, that is what made me think of him.

I will say, it was a stretch to think of 16 X-Men to get.

16 is a decent number, but yeah there wouldn't be many more than that I would want. I can usually think of about 15 I'd go to, but even some of those I could go without.

How much input did you give on costumes and versions of characters? For example, I like that it's feather winged Angel instead of metal wings, and noticed too that it's the original version of Bishop. Your choices overall, or his?

I gave him costume choices for everyone. For almost all of them I provided a reference for the costume. Beyond that, he did what he did.

I picked which costumes I liked the most. I didn't stick with a certain era.

Banshee was one of the ones I picked just to fill the wall, and one I think he did the best job of.

Bishop & Banshee could have been Canonball or Cable, it was a last minute choice.

I also realized how few female X-Men there are.

I think there are few classic female X-Men, but at this point it's getting closer to being even. A lot of the newer characters that come in are female, but they all play off the Kitty archetype of young girl who's going to be the next big deal. Rogue to an extent, but then Jubilee, Armor, Pixie, Dust, Surge, Idie, and even Tempus now. The problem is, outside of Rogue and Jubilee, none of them really stick enough to become as big as the other characters.

But yeah, it does get tough to keep it balanced.
