News websites

I know we've covered this before, but I'm too bothered to look the thread up.

But, what comics news sites do you guys frequent?

I usually run by Newsarama, CBR (and most notably Robot 6 and Comics should be good), House to Astonish and The Beat.

Anymore, Newsarama isn't news as much as it is previews and Top 10 Lists. I rarely check it anymore. I mostly deal with CBR, and I agree on it's two premier blogs in Robot 6 and CSBG. Never tried House to Astonish though.

Honestly?
None now. I browse a couple message boards.

There is too much crap to sort through that I don't feel like wasting time on.
Anything really big pops up on message boards.

Actually, wasting time is a bad way to put it.

I don't have time to sort through it all.

I check CBR and BleedingCool.
I wouldn't call House to Astonish a news site though.

I mainly check Bleeding Cool but most of the news I get is stuff reposted on Facebook/Twitter/Reddit.

I browse Newsarama, CBR & Bleeding Cool. I don't read the articles anymore as you can see what the article is about from the header.

Also, a lot of times reading an article on Newsarama, I'll spot a few typos which isn't the end of the world but as a "news reporting site" you should spellcheck your article.

Agreed. Newsarama is HORRIBLE for typos. It makes me stop reading their articles pretty quickly.

I tend not to read the articles anymore. I browse bullet points.

Newsarama's everything must fit into a top 10 format is trivial, but suits today's browse and skim audience.

I prefer CBR, I'll listen to House to Astonish's take on new items and comics reviews and previews and I'll still skim Newsarama a bit.

Well, it seems we're all in agreement on where to get our news.

And yes, I know House to Astonish isn't a news site.
