Moon Knight by Warren Ellis

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

Now that I've been smitten by Warren Ellis, I plan on trying out the new Moon Knight title it was announced that he will be writing next year.

Anyone else?

Oh yeah, and I'm totally picking up some of Ellis' older work. Specifically some of the stuff I saw that Wulf's had sent me for Ellis sigs

Try Crecy. It's a one shot and my favorite Warren Ellis comic.
Oddly, not in the ones I sent you.

The Strange Killings and Gravel books are great.

So is Nextwave.

Were you very familar with Ellis beforehand?

Also, I obviously will be getting it,
"French is like anal, exotic but oh so unnecessary."

Trade for me. Or possibly, if my pull-list allows it, singles.

I still want the TPB with his Secret Avengers issues. Was it Secret Avengers?

I was familiar with Ellis' work and his reputation as being a controversial writer.

I read The Authority, NextWave, his Wolverine & JLA run and one of his novels.

I'm going to try out Crecy, Freakangels and his Vampirella run among other stuff.

M - do you generally download everything?

Not really. Things that interest me, whether it's old or new work. His latest Avengers 'run' (6 issues, I believe) I never downloaded, but I want the TPB because I heard those issues are really good (that, and Aja's issue looks fabulous).

I can confirme that. I've recently read all 6 issues and they are great.
