Alan Moore

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

I've been picking up some great Alan Moore books from his runs in the 80s and it got me thinking: did Moore ever sign anything?

I see stuff signed by his artists like Vietch, Totleben, Lloyd & Gibbons but nothing by Moore. I can't find a single title Moore so much as scribbled on. I don't know if Moore was always crabby, and I don't fault him if he was, but do you think there was ever a time where he would have been open to signing titles?

I've read some articles about Moore's nature and his relationship not just with the comic book business but with artists and it seems all over the place (with the exception of his hatred for DC comics) but nothing on him doing or having ever done signings.

Just wondering what others thought about this or if they've ever seen anything signed by Moore

Pretty sure there was an article some weeks back on Bleeding Cool about attending an Alan Moore signing at Gosh Comics in London.
