Yeah, the price on GL is ridiculous. I'm glad it's my last issue. What could possibly be worth making this book $8?

It's 64 pages but that should at max be $6, not $8.

It's David Michelinie and Bob Layton with a new arc that is supposed to take place immediately after issue 258. It's dubbed as "Micheline. Layton. Two voices that defined Iron Man come together to tell the untold story of his most dire hour – Armor Wars 2!"

Is #258 supposed to be the end of the Fraction run?

The issues are set between 258 and 259 of the original series (so it's set in the 80s). They did a similar thing with Spider-Man last year, allowing 1 more issue of the original series.

GL was much more than 64 pages. The issue was ad-less but had "congratulations, Geoff!" pages where other creators praised Johns on his work. It was prestige format and the digital issue I downloaded after reading the physical said it was 79 pages yet there were many splash dual pages and a final epic 4-page spread. So more like 96 pages, which $8 is very appropriate for.
