Man, you're really getting into the comission business. That's a nice one.

And I have you to thank for that. You made my expensive hobby more expensive!

Oddly enough, my three favorite pieces that I have no urge to part with, all came from the same show, and are the only ones I get regular offers to buy.

The Ottley Invincible, Moore Walking Dead, and surprisingly, the Calyton Crain Spidey/Carnage I get the most e-mail about.

In that case make sure the family stuff is in order first, that's much more important.

Thanks for the well wishes.

It's actually Krista's grandmother that's sick. She's has stage 3 ling cancer that's spreading, and they can't treat it. We've been going out there (5 hour drive) when we can so she can see her, but it's hard to find the time.

Since the relaunch of the DCNU and Marvel now, I've been trying new comics in hopes of them getting better, then droppig more Marvel or DC than ever before due to awful writing. It's been par for the course for a while now.

Anyway, now Justice league is toast.
I decided to give it a another shot, and was reading issue 14 or so last night, when they did the origin of the Cheetah.

An enchanted dagger from the amazon turn her into the goddess of the hunt, the cheetah.
Did no one bother fact checking the amazon, and cheetahs are from two different continents?
Sometimes the little things like this really bug me.

The Cheetah arc is utter shite, that's what got me to drop it except for any variants put in my file. The crossover with Aquaman is better but I'm pissed they aren't tying other books into it since it affects the Bat-verse.

I noticed that too.

I was up to date on my bat books, but not JL.

So when JL floods Gotham I was very confused. The DotF story arc is the only good thing in the DCNU right now, but seems apart from the rest of DCNU at large, and I'll keep reading it. Everything else can go bye-bye, though.

I know what you mean, I'm down to really just collecting Batman and Green Lantern adjectiveless titles. I get the 50/50 variants for a couple and the sideways sketch variants, but I don't fret if I don't get those (as in I don't buy the regular cover if I don't get the variant).

I really like the Superman, but the purple background is a little... gay.

Are you sure that's his regular colorist? Sorry to be rude, but that looks like a middle school student's art project...
