Annotated Sandman vol 2. Amazon has it for 40% which is more than double the amount off I'd get at my local comic shop. I feel bad not buying it from him, but in the end it came down to money.

I remember that cover being particularly memorable. Is it the first appearance of Swamp Thing?

My comic guy picked this up at Montreal Mini-Con back in December for me.

I also got an Uncanny X-Men 88, which finished my entire run of Uncanny X-Men. Happy day!

I thought you had already finished your run on Uncanny? Either way congrats on that! And very cool sketch cover. I recognize the art it seems but can't tell who it's by.

It's by Nick Bradshaw, and thank you.

I was saving the last issue to find in person, rather than just ebaying it.

Ah! Of course! I couldn't recall his name and the initials didn't help! Great piece though!

And I understand that. I'm almost debating on if there should be a specific issue to make my last one, you know? As if to end the search with one book of meaning. Based on price I'm almost assuming it will be issue 1.

It was easier for me to drop the cash on number, since it is such a key issue, than it was one 2-10.

As for last issue, I don't think it really matters. The completion to me was the the key. The last issue may end up being a surprise for which one was so hard to find. I'd be willing to bet it would be a reprint, based on the hardness to find. But who knows?

Congrats on both completing your run and getting the sweet sketch by Bradshaw. He is on the breakout talents of 2012, definitely!
