http://basement-x.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=11We lost yet another master of the comic book art form today, as the legendary Joe Kubert passed away today at the age of 85.
Our condolences to his friends and family.
Read on to see some examples of how brilliant Kubert was…
Kubert is likely best known for his Sgt. Rock work, but Enemy Ace is where I think he shined brightest.
Enemy Ace, the German fighter pilot war hero from World War I, was the lead feature in Star Spangled War Stories from #138-145, #147-150.

They plugged a book in his obit, it was awful. It was a standard 1 paragraph.XIII wrote:That gets me very sad. He was really nice everytime I had something for him to sign at NYCC. His body of work is impressive.
Must be said that the "Remembering Joe Kubert" post over at the DC blog is totaly shameful.
The should have done far better for the man.
