I know Young is selling a print of the cover at shows. Maybe you could contact him.jedispyder wrote:It is! I really want a print of the cover to frame and hang on the wall, it's just so ridiculously cute! I wish I had bought it when they first unveiled it because they doubled the price when they sold out (brilliant strategy for them).
Today I got: Comics thread!

Found his website but it appears he isn't selling prints online. He does sell a little bit of stuff and he posts the sketches he makes, but nothing for that image except for showing an image of it. I did see he does sketches of TMNT that are ridiculously cute/awesome that I now want...XIII wrote:I know Young is selling a print of the cover at shows. Maybe you could contact him.

My mom bought me the sandman for Christmas one year, and told me she would get me the rest as they came out.
I don't think she realized what she getting into with all 7 statues.
It does look great, though.
Do any of you guys have a comic room set up? I would be curious to see them!

Holy shit that thing holds a lot of comics.
1 long box and a half in 4 of the 5 sides. And those 4 sides aren't even completely full.
I'd estimate it holds 400-500 comics, bagged and boarded.
I didn't really like the archie pockets all that much, until I realized they held all my badges from conventions perfectly.

I had a comic room complete with posters, some statues and old AF's, but due to space constraints its been turned into a storage room. I had 12 medium sized boxes which now sit snugly in a closet under my basement stairs. All my posters have been rolled up and the AF's have been packed away. The only things I have out are two bookshelves filled with my trades and a half bookshelf that I keep the floppies I'm currently collecting.
It'll probably be several months to a year before I can create a new comic room.

Traded in some of the New 52 for a decent copy of Uncanny X-Men 41. Also, put the following issues on hold as payment for running the store while the owner is at Origins in Colombus for 4 days:
Uncanny X-Men 35, 36, 38
All in decent shape. 35 is the Spider-Man cover and if I recall the first appearance of Changeling. I was going to get a beautiful copy of UXM 9 but he sold it this weekend at a show. So the rest are elf to prevent that now. Can't blame him tho as it was a $100+ book.
