I don't know that I'll ever get as complete a run as you two but I'll be happy with as much as I can get.

I didn't get these today but I just looked them up. My retailer put in my file last week a pack of comics for $20, it was 6 issues of True Blood: Tainted Love. All were the Dynamic Forces variants with issue #1 is signed by both True Blood actor and the issue co-writer, Michael McMillian and co-writer Marc Andreyko. Now, I figured $20 (or, if he gave me the usual discount, $16) isn't bad for 6 Dynamic Forces variants. Hell, that's even cheaper than if I had bought them at cover price.

I decide to look them up on eBay and see they're not really going for much but not many are being sold. I decide to look them up on Dynamic Forces website and my mind if frickin blown. The dual-signed #1 is sold for $50! The rest are sold for $15 a piece!

I just have to wonder how my retailer gets this stuff. He had no clue what it was, just slapped a price on it and put it my file. He said he figured they were all Dynamic Forces variants but wasn't sure exactly as they were sealed when he got them. If he's selling them for $20, he likely got them for $15 or so. Now I have to wonder how he got them in the first place as I know he didn't make a special order for it, lol.

And how can Dynamic Forces sell these for so much when you can get them on eBay for just a few bucks. Do retailers get it from Dynamic Forces for dirt cheap and and Dynamic Forces sells them online for exorbitant amounts? Frickin weird.

I had already bought them. I almost didn't since I think I already had them, but I went ahead and got it since the first issue was signed.

Thief of Thieves 1 and 2.

Really enjoyed the book. It has a hint of the Ocean's movies which I love and I'm definitely adding it to the pull. My Image pull has gone from 0 to 3-4 in just about 1 month. And I actually like it.

My back issue guy had someone walk in at the end of the day last Thursday to sell 4 comics, all lower grade.

They were;

Brave & The Bold 28
Flash 123
House of Secrets 92
Batman 255

3 pretty stellar books, and 1 good one.
I picked up the Flash 123 from him, the HoS 92 aqnd Batman were gone, and the B7B 28 was $400.

Wolf, which did you consider the good on out of the 3 steller books?

Tragic, I concur, my Image pull list is also increasing. Right now Im collecting Pigs, Thief of Thieves, Saga & Fatale. And thats not counting the ones I grab in trades like TWD, Invincible, (formerly Astounding Wolf-man), Chew & Morning Glories. Image is definitely the place to be for non-mainstream books, super-hero and other

Marvel Double Shot 1-4
Marvel Double Shot #1 Punisher by Ennis & Quesada
Marvel Double Shot #2 DareDevil By Rucka & Horn
Marvel Double Shot #3 Swamp Thing by Ha & Figueroa
And I cant remember what the last Double shot was...

That's one of the most famous comic book covers! Didn't realize this was the issue you picked up. Nice one!

In addition to marking the begining of the Silver Age of Comics it also introduces Tragic's all time favorite Flash of all time: Barry Allen, who after dying in COIE was brought back to the foreront and replaced glorified place holder Wally West. Thanks Geoff!

I was shocked to see he had it and it hadn't sold. I was very happy, been looking for a reasonably priced copy for a while now.

Actually, that doesn't really introduce the Silver Age. Showcase 4 is often considered to have done that, which introduces Barry Allen. That issue actually introduced that the Golden Age characters still existed on another Earth, and introduced the Multiverse.

I've been laboring over whether I should or shouldn't get these but broke down and made an order:
Avengers vs X-Men #1 Midtown Comics Skottie Young variant cover
Avengers vs X-Men #2 Team Avengers and Team X-Men variant covers (1 of each)

I'm kicking myself for not ordering earlier because I found out they also had a variant of Boba Fett is Dead that was extremely rare yet they sold it for near cover price (on eBay it's going for $30). I added it to my wishlist so I guess if it comes in they'll let me know.

It is! I really want a print of the cover to frame and hang on the wall, it's just so ridiculously cute! I wish I had bought it when they first unveiled it because they doubled the price when they sold out (brilliant strategy for them).

But you don't deny your love for Barry Allen do you?
