Refurbished iPad 1.

I didn't want to spend all the money on a 2. Got a good deal fo a 64 GB iPad 1 wi-fi, for $400 from apple.

So about the signatures, if you could get them personalized "To Arnaud", that would be splendid.
And say hi to Greg Rucka from me (and tell him I'm ready for more translation work if he wants, lol).

I was going to, on both counts!

I'll tell him about it while he signs the giant stack of comics for him.

I have 10+ comics each for 3 creators. All big creators. That will not be fun.

Hopefully I can find them during off times.

Mard Waid's twitter, actually. Even though he isn't at the show.

I'll take pictures, and let you know how it goes. Looks like a great convention.

Waid won't be there because he'll be at Gem City Con. And so will I. Have fun though.

I am n Seattle!

I'm met said before, really nice guy. Have fun at gem city!

My hotel is a block from the con. I can see it from the front door. I could easily walk back for lunch, or use the toilet.

This could easily be way better than an f the nycc's.

I'll keep everyone posted!

Bowling was fun, I did not win a bowling pin though. So oh well.

Chris samnee was Ill though, and did not attend, so no queen and country sketch or autographs from him.

Too bad. Did you team with a creator at the bowling?

How packed was the convention center? Was it worse than NYCC or was it easier to navigate?

Less, but NYC is the 2nd biggest n north America.

I had little trouble navigating, but everyone else said it was packed this year, too packed. The fir marshal stopped enace sat afternoon.

After NYC though, I tout this show was a breeze. And the fire marshal capping entrance is also very very common.

Someone told me either 30k people Friday or for the weekend, not sure which.

The show was also creator heavy in the ratio. Half the con floor was artist tables, the est dedicated to booths. Only Mage had a big booth. Dc, ONI, avatar, dark horse, and boom all had tables. Marvel had nothing.
This made if different than any show I have ever been to. I feel lke this has to do with Seattle culture.
The entertainment guests were in their own private area, never even saw that part.
Panels also.

Great, great show for any of us. Although, for you Europeans, it might be a little small for the trip involved, unless you really want to see Seattle, or those particular guests.

But again, all this is comparing it to the second biggest show in north America.

I am extremely happy with it and would go back, althought maybe not ever year, especially if we start doing nyc again.
I like the idea of alternating a easy coast/west coast show every year for myself.

My hotel was also a block from the convention centre. I cannot tell you how much of a perk this is.
The able to back for an hour n the middle of the day for an hour is a godsend.

My hotel room to te con floor was 3-5 minutes.

More when I get back to Calgary,
