No bruises! I do not bruise easily, I have very, very thick skin.

We video taped it, I looked way, way better than I felt. It was a fun time.

Nice! Congrats! How'd you feel after the day?

Incidentally, I've decided I like kick-boxing. At least, in the recreational way things are going now.

Well, I am completely burnt out.

I had the montreal comic con, then back to Calgary.

When I got back to Calgary I came down with a cold, and proceeded to train like nomral with a cold.

Then competed with a cold on Saturday.

Cold cleared up after Sunday.

Since then I have been sleeping and eating junk food, and it has been glorious.

11 hours sleep last night and I am still tired. Sigh.

Have fun!

Will you be staying there an extra day or so to see the sights or is it strictly for the Con?

Seattle.

I'll have Thursday to see the sites.

My brothers girlfriend actually lives in Seattle, so if she is around, maybe she can show me the sites.

I really liked Seattle when I was there in August a few years ago. Was only there for 2 days, but it was nice. Have fun at the Con tho!

Won a provincial wide tournament yesterday, along with a round robin tournament in Muay Thai yesterday.

Kind of nice, went the whole day undefeated.

But get this. I won a Samurai Sword for fighting in a high school.
Ha!

I competed in a tourament for Muay Thai yesterday. There was also a grappling portion.

For every weight and skill division, in both Muay Thai and Grappling, instead of giving away first, second and third place medals, they have away varying length steel (shitty quality) samuri swords. Longest for the winner, then medium, then small for third place.

Over the whole day they must have givin away perhaps 50 or 60 swords. All in a high school gymnasium.

Canada has a zero tolerance violence policy, and for weapon as well. If you fight or bring a weapon to school, you are expelled.

Many of us found this very funny, as we were fighting in a school, and winning weapons.

Mind you, the school board had absolutly nothing to do with the tournament, we were just using the space.

You've got the fighting experience, and now you've got the sword.

When does the crime fighting begin?
