Unfortunately the position was already filled. They did want to talk to me, because they hope they might get a new opening soon.

So sorry you didn't get the job but perhaps something else will come out of the conversation you had with the interviewer

Aaand... out of the left field: a new contract with my current employer. It kinda surprised me, but I'm not complaning.

Buying comics and sketches!
Sounds reasonably well enough. I miss the beer, though.

We might find beer there. I decided to travel in style and got me first class tickets.

Nice! I do have to drive on the way back, though. But a beer or two should be fine.

Are you both going just for the day?

Yes, we'll be there just for the day. I must say I'm impress with the Dutchies driving there and back from Amsterdam in just one day. I hope the Con will be worth it!
Just made a list of the stuff I want to get signed. Unsurprisingly enough, it's mostly for Azz.

Went to North Sea Jazz yesterday, which was awesome. Got free tickets and saw some great musicians (Paul Simon, BB King, Larry Graham). We might just as well buy a passe-partout next year, since all days there are qutie a few awesome artists.

To be honest, BB King was lacking. His band was awesome. But he talked too much. I'd rather have him let Lucille talk.
Anyway, bored at work. As in, don't want to work. Friday 4 PM and I've already worked 50 hours this week. Something to do with a shitload of work. So, not so awesome. But right now I feel like GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! Of course, I already know I'll take some work home with me.

Hopefully, the paycheck is on par with the hours.
