I feel like your store never gets anything!

Wulf, how much would you be willing to pay for it? I did see one selling for $16 but not through any of the stores in NY but on eBay. Would you be willing to go for that?

If no ones store has it, I'll probably just go through eBay myself. I was hoping to avoid the $20 or $30 it will cost if someones store had a copy, that's why I asked.

The cost of shipping to Canada blows. And I've looked into, shipping to US, then having someone mail it to Canada still blows.

I understand but judging from what I am seeing on eBay, you'll wind up having to pay at least $20 for it given that it was a low print run and then recalled. For your information these are the auctions I've found:

http://cgi.ebay.com/DC-Comics-Presents- ... 3f09775cd0

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=legion ... m270.l1313

I'll check out a few more places in Manhattan for you and will let you know what I find by sunday

Yeah, that's what I saw. I've heard of a few shops that were selling it for cover, or $5 or $10 bucks, that is probably no longer the case.

That is true. It is very small and they basically get just what the customers order, and a few extra copies of big titles like Avengers, X-Men, Green Lantern...
Actually, yesterday, the owner was telling that they were facing their worst month in terms of income and he didn't know how long the store would be able to go on at this rate.
I might become storeless!!!

They also sell second-hand books.

The place looks dirty and about to fall apart. When you walk past it, you don't feel like getting inside.

I`ve been in a few secondhand book stores that sell comics, they all seem to be a mediocre selection of comics, like you described. Just the main Marvel/DC titles that people order.

Do you like any other shops in Lyon?

Worst case scenario, you can always download comics. I know it's nowhere near the same, but at least you'll be able to read the issue. And think of all the money you'd save ;)

That is ridiculous that in a city of one million, there is only one shop that sells english comics.

That really sucks, man.

I would not be surprised if there's only one shop in Rotterdam as well. There are a few more European style comicshops, but as far as I know, just one that sells US comics. Of course, that isn't a bookstore, but an actual comicstore.

My store has some trouble with getting The Red Wing #1. Anyone got a spare copy or can get one of those?

I have to ship Andy a picture DVD. I could get a copy of Red Wing, and mail both to either you or Andy, and then you guys could forward the other thing on?

Shipped shit overseas isn't cheap, and I imagine it's cheaper to send something from the EU to the EU.
