Hey, anyone possibly find a copy of Zatanna #2? We can't order them anymore and Alisha is only missing that issue. If you do let me know before nabbing it so we can work some stuff out.

I'll look around. I can most likely find one.

Yeah, let me know if you can. It's the one issue that my shop can no longer order through Diamond, so we can't go that route. I appreciate it if you can.

If no one has found it by Wednesday I'll go around to the 4 comics shops in the area. I'm sure one of them will have it. Heck, I could probably find it at my main store for a good discount...

lol don't go out of your way guys. It's no rush. She's just curious and I told her we'd shop around. If you stumble across it just let me know and I'll probably have you nab it, but don't worry about having to check multiple stores. I really appreciate the help though!

I'm perfectly fine with checking multiple stores, I have no other plans ;)

Worst case scenario, you can always download it for her (or I can download it and send it to you). I know you're not kosher on reading downloaded stuff, but if no one can find it that's the easiest way for her to read it.

It'd all be up to her. I think she wants a copy but I'm not sure. She's borrowed my books before to read, but now that she's collecting this book I think she wants it but I'll have to check.

My local store had it today if no one else got it.

If she has the other issues but has to wait to read them until she reads #2, no point in having her wait IMO. You can still collect the issue and re-read it later...

I didn't see anyone else mention it so I went and got Zatanna #2 today. Unless someone else got it and didn't say anything, if you can give me your address I can get it in the mail tonight.

Crap, sorry for the delay guys. Wolf, I didn't see your post the other day, but if jedi already nabbed it I'll just have him send it unless you did as well. Sorry for the confusion guys, didn't mean to get behind. I just keep coming home and sleeping after teaching some days.

Aw poor guy. All tuckered out after a long days work. ;)

Most of the places I went to didn't have it. I was going to check a few more locations but it seems like Jedi is already on top of it.

In sadder news one of the shops I go to for back issues, St. Marks Comics, caught fire yesterdaay morning. The restaurant next to St. Marks had an electrical fire and it burned through a side wall into a comic shop. Fortunately they were able to put it out before it spread. There wasn't a lot of damage but the wall to the right of the entrace of St. Marks suffered most of the damage. Hopefully their insurance will cover it.

Damn, I'm really sorry to hear that about the store. I hope they get things taken care of and don't suffer any huge losses, and hope no one was hurt.

That sucks! Was there any damage to comics, or just to the wall?

Not that I know of. I had just moved when those issues were coming out, so I was jumping between shops at the time, and the one here and now has almost nothing before September/October of 2010 that hasn't been donated.

I don't think I've ever seen that one. I can see if my shop has it, though.
