Glorious week. I'm hesitating between trying to dodge the FF spoiler until next Monday when I get the comics or just plainly download the book as soon as it hits the net. The latter probably.

I know here in the States Marvel OK-ed the sale of the FF issue on Tuesday in order to try and avoid potential big media outlets spoiling the issue for actual fans, and to also allow fans to go and get the book before said potential media coverage drives non-fans to rush in and buy out the book.

To be honest, I think that's a great practice. It's good when a book gets huge press, but it does hurt fans who cant get in on Wednesday by causing non-readers to rush out and buy the book because they think it's 100x more important than it may be, or by letting the media spoil that 'X' character has died before they get to the issue (like with Captain America, Superman, etc).

Good move on Marvel's part, and it doesn't hurt that some retailers would probably have sold them as it is due to demand and early release.

Huge, huge, great week with a great mix of a little of everything. Some Darkhorse, some DC, Marvel & a pinch of Vertigo. Also, I'm really enjoying the aforementioned titles a lot. My enjoyment of Avengers probably stems from not having read Bendis in so long.

Zatanna & Legacy War promise to be really fantastic and, yes, even JSA with their Nazi-every-third-issue as villains are enjoyable.

I haven't read UXM since the last crossover and I probably won't read what I've missed, instead I'll just pick up with the new creative team.

The biggest hit this week is the action figures. I was a big fan of the Blackest Night Deputies and want all of them, this is the end. Other than that, it just seems Marvel decided to rape us and have majority of their books ship this week. It was actually reported on Bleeding Cool 2 weeks ago about the upcoming "Marvel flood" so I was prepared, but it does suck.

And I am planning to drop a lot of stuff soon. I'm dropped Skullkickers after the first arc, dropped GA & BoP after Brighest Day ends. Several are minis (Haycion, Kick-Ass 2, Superior, 27, Angel: Illyria, Spike, Chaos War). Dropped both Avengers and Secret Avengers after issue 12. All Batman titles are ones that I'm testing for the first arc of Batman Incorporated (likely drop Batman, may not even start Batman & Robin). I'm tempted to drop both Action and Superman, they're interesting but quality has been lacking.

I gotcha. I mean, I have to watch how big mine gets but it just seemed like yours kept growing haha.

I think Superman is my one to pitch depending on this direction after the Grounded arc. Batman can come and go at any time, but I'd like to stay on it if I can. I've jumped on and off that book a few times in the last year or so.
