haha thanks to Arn for giving us a new trend!
BATMAN RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #6 (OF 6)
BIRDS OF PREY #6
RED ROBIN #17
WELCOME TO TRANQUILITY ONE FOOT GRAVE #5 (OF 6)
HALCYON #1
Not a bad week. Two Gail Simone books at once again, plus Red Robin, and 1 book closer to the end of my dealing with Grant Morrison. Plus, Image's HALCYON comes out, about the world After the superheroes have effectively won. What do they do now, etc. And it's 2.99 instead of $4 like most minis usually are. Big ups to Image on that one. Hope it's good.

I simply hope this issue EXPLAINS how everyone realizes Bruce is back, rather than 'oh yeah, by the way, Bruce is here again. FYI' like it's been in the other Bat books. Also, I hope it deals with that whole damn "I'm a giant time killing/eating bomb" thing. Because that's kind of a giant plot piece sitting there that's been unmentioned in the Return books I read and the latest issue of Batman & Robin.

I still have trouble believing what returned in book 5 was him, looked nothing like we last saw him. But I'm sure they'll explain everything, and since it's Morrison at least it'll match what occurred in the last B&R issue ("nice of you to just show up out of nowhere").
But because it's Morrison there also a chance it'll make no fucking sense at all. Take the last arc of New X-Men, where the fuck did that come from, lol? Great read but a tad confusing. Still pissed Marvel took a shit on all of his work automatically afterward...

Just finished RoBW #6 and that title made no sense. At all.
My problem with the entire Return of Bruce Wayne saga is that there are/were several additional titles you had to have picked up or had been following to get the entire gist of the whole Bruce Wayne/time traveling thing.
Bruce Wayne Bat-jumping through time in the Return of Bruce Wayne is just one part of a larger story that kicked off right after Final Crises #6 and has been spinning off in various titles. There is the other Batman related mini with Supes/GL Rick Hunter & Booster that you need to get to further help you understand it not to mention the Road Home title & whatever the F is happening in B&R. Gahhh!!!!
Anyho, this mini turned out to be the stinker I thought it would be. G'Byee Morrison for the foreseeable future. I need a break from your psychosis and weirdly unentertaining stories.
On another note, I brought Avengers #6, today at the comic shop, oblivious to the fact that I brought Avengers #6 two weeks ago. Kinda pissed about that. That's an extra $3.99 down the drain >:(

Can't you return it? I've done worse, I've bought multiple copies of the same issue the same day. Occasionally my retailer will start working on my file and when he gives me my variants if I don't pay attention I'll grab the issues over again. And even though I have my titles separated by price so it's easier for him, we both miss out on the dupes. In the past 3 months I've done this with 4 issues =o( I could probably return them but I'm too forgetful...Mr Wallstreet wrote:On another note, I brought Avengers #6, today at the comic shop, oblivious to the fact that I brought Avengers #6 two weeks ago.
