BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #36
BRIGHTEST DAY #9
Small but hopefully very good week. This helps since last week, and next week are a bit higher up in costs. An under $10 week is sorely needed.

I didn't get Taskmaster or Wolverine, neither interested me when I flipped through them. I did order the Spider-Man: Complete Clone Saga Vol 1, had no clue they were doing trades of it until I saw Vol 3 (which I passed on for now, want to get them 1 by 1 in order). I'm one of the few who really loved the Clone Saga...

I nearly picked up the second printing of Morning Glories #1, but passed it just becaues I wanted to hear a few more reviews and the like. Jedi, did you say you picked it up or passed it by?
Also, though I passed it to look it up first, the shop had all 8 issues of Wildstorm's American Way for about $8, which I think I'm definitely going to pick up this weekend. I really like the sound of it, and Jeanty's art is great.

Morning Glories was a great issue, glad I gave it a try. Basically it's taking place at this higher education facility and it starts with students trying to escape but not making. A new batch comes in and we find out that all the new students (who come from various parts of the world) have the exact same birthdate. One girl calls home only for her father to state he doesn't have a daughter. Some very weird stuff happens on the last page I won't ruin, but it was definitely a great read.

The art wasn't "all that" but considering it's not by any big stars I don't mind as much.
The main reason people think it's the "next best thing" is because retailers severely underordered it. Within a week it was selling for $16 on eBay, which obviously causes a stir and people thinking it's the best thing ever.
