Biggest in Western Canada now, weeee.

Mostly movie starts now, you can tell from the fact it is no longer comic and entertainment expo.

You guys fans of anyone coming?

Going to see if Aaron Douglas went drinking with any Mexican dishwashers.

Or, looking for any comics you want me to look for, ala the swap meet thread? I'm not looking for much this year, so I don't mind taking a peek for others.

The movie/television guest list looks very sci-fi heavy. Obviously its cool to see Aaron Douglass & Tamoh Penikett there; maybe they'll be around for NYCC 2010. And Mr. Billy Dee Williams! Lando can do no wrong. I'd like to meet him and Harrison Ford before both of them die.

I'm a fan of some of Tony Todd's work but I hear he's a dick in real life. i.e. he charges around $100 a pop for photos and autographs/signatures.

Down to comic creators: Claremont: eh, been there, done that.

I'd like to meet Pia Guerra artist on YTLM (who, apparently, is a woman). Tony Harris 9Ex Machina) & Bruce Timm

Tony Todd and Spock are supposed to be quite expensive.

90k appearance fee for Spock.

Tamoh Penikett was supposed to be there last year but was ill and had to cancel, so they got Adama instead.

90K just to get Spock to show his wrinkled face? Granted he was a huge cultural icon back Star Trek's heyday (60s & a few movies in the 80s), but he hasn't done anything worthwhile for a long time.

Has his price always been that high? If not I'd chalk up his recent surge in popularity due to his role in Star Trek & Fringe and they were both very limited cameos. If not for those two things he'd be sitting on his ass with nothing better to do than calmly await deaths cold embrace.

90K is an obscenely large amount...

I am working with some guys at this con, between the two of them they have over 200 long boxes of stock, not including trades.

If you guys are looking for anything, I can probably get them for a very good deal, so let me know here, or even better, send a message over facebook since it will go to my phone that way.

Pretty cool that you are working with guys at the con. Have fun and thanks for the offer. Can't think of any comics I'm particularly looking for at the moment.
