Good show. I wouldn't say its as great-fantastic-supercool as everyone is saying but certainly its intelligently written, engaging and wonderfully executed.
The major problem I had with this show was the pacing. They dragged out a lot of episodes. The first 3 episode storyline dealt entirely with the protagonist, Mr. White, finding out he had cancer, starting the journey of his drug career and dealing with the aftermath of a drug deal gone bad. I'm not saying they should have done everything in one ep, but I think 2 episodes, tops would have been sufficient to lay the groundwork because the bulk of the 3 episodes dealt entirely with Mr. White trying to dispose of a body.
The following 2 eps dealt with Mr. White shuffling around his house over the guilt at what he'd done and swearing off dealing drugs. The show finally picked up during the last 3-4 eps.
Beyond the problem of pacing its a great show. I still can't believe the protagonist, Mr. White, is played by Bryan Cranston. I remember him as the goofy neighbor in King of Queens and crazy father from Malcolm in the Middle. That guy seriously has range.
