Best Cancelled Title - Not for lack of trying...

Agents of Atlas.

Who picked this up?

It was a fun team book. Jeff Parker knows how to write.

The current series, which ended last year would merge story elements from the 50s (which Parker appeared to be creating new) with stuff going on in present Hammer run Marveldom.

Each character had their own voice and the team had a unique purpose as the terrorist group Atlas, which was really just a front for their true, hero nature.

This book was heavily backed by Marvel with comic advertising, previews in the back of comics and cross over stories. Somehow, this group just didn't connect with the audience and it's all YOUR fault. :D

Looks like Marvel refuse to give up though, as Agents of Atlas feature as a backup strip in Incredible Hercules, which incidently is a book that should be selling far more than it actually is.

I never really tried it. I did read a couple of issues I downloaded and it didn't grab me.

Marvel are really into this title. If you look at the solicits, there's mini series for Avengers vs. Agents of Atlas. They seem to love this book irrespective of sales.
