Sopranos started before 2000, no?

On my list, there would Lost, The Shield, Life on Mars UK, The Wire, Weeds.

Though both Sopranos & Angel premiered in fall of 99 but I'm including them on my list because they were for the 99-00 season.

I like your list. Haven't seen Life on Mars or the Shield but I'd like to. Weeds started out great but the last & current season were so bad I couldn't get through em.

I don't know how Heroes is on there. It was 1 good season followed by 3 of terrible, terrible, television.

The Shield, Sons of Anarcchy, The Wire, BSG, Rome, Hustle, Burn Notice, Rescue Me, Life, Dexter.

Honorable Mentions
Firefly, Generation Kill, Big Bang Theory, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Supernatural, Veronica Mars, Nip/Tuck, Breaking Bad.

I see a trend with my TV shows.

Since it's listing those from 2000 on, I definitely don't have ten, but they include:

Angel
Nip/Tuck
Veronica Mars
Firefly
Bones
The O.C.
Scrubs

I'd put House on there but.. I started drifting on it from Season 4, and I missed all of last year like I did with it and Bones. I'm still more excited about Bones though. When I catched up on House I'll see if it would make the list.

Ten since 2000? Oy, I can't even think of 10. I think this list will change drastically once I've finished watching all the tv-shows that are still waiting to be watched (The Shield, The Sopranos, Life, Castle, Burn Notice, Big Bang Theory).

Top spot, no contest: The Wire

How I met your mother
Dexter
Lost
Supernatural
Life on Mars (UK)
Battlestar Galactica
Brotherhood

Oh, why not? House and Californication to fill out the 10.

Feel free to make your lists as long, or as short, as possible.

Yes, honorable mention goes to BSG as well. Haven't yet seen the Sheild, and I doubt I ever will; thing is like 9 seasons or something and I've already got a bunch of other shows I want/need/desire to watch: Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Life on Mars & Dexter to name a few. Probably going to stop watching Weeds. Story has gone to shit.

I enjoyed HEROES a lot. Even though the writer's strike hurt the second season, I still enjoyed it. The biggest criticism leveled at season 2 from fans/critics, aside from the rushed ending, was the pacing of the show. I liked the pacing, the writers were trying to lay the groundwork in a fashion similar to season but people didn't go for that again. I will agree that Season 3, Vol III was piss poor but season 3, vol 4 was fantastic. I enjoyed the shit out of it.

Been hearing a lot about The Big Bang Theory but thats not going to happen any time soon...

The Shield is only 7 seasons and 88 episodes. It's worth watching.

You can skip Sons of Anarchy, that show is dull. Life on Mars is only 12 episodes total, BTW. Sure, there's 12 more of Ashes to Ashes, but Life on Mars is way better than that sequal.

I disagree. I find Sons of Anarchy to be the best show on Television right now.

Yeah, Dutchie, please elaborate on Ashes to Ashes. Is it basically the same thing all over again except it's in London and in the early 80s?

The premise is that it's about an English officer who knows what the dude from Life on Mars claims has happened to him. So she's actively trying to get out of it all (yes, it's the same, excelt it's in the 80's). I'd recommend the first episode alone for the dress she's wearing, though. :D

I have yet to finish it. It's fun and all, but it's not the grandness that is Life on Mars.
