BIRDS OF PREY #2
BRIGHTEST DAY #4
DC UNIVERSE LEGACIES #2 (OF 10)

BoP looks to be the lead book, and the first Legacies wasn't too bad. I'm just a lot more eager to hit the Silver Age/JLA stories and into the Teen Titans section of time.

Question: What happened to the main title for Astonishing X-Men? Does anyone remember how many more issues there are to finish the Ellis/Jimenez story? It hasn't been on the shipping lists for a lot longer than 2 months.

No clue. The X-books are all a mish-mash & its hard keeping up with everything they're putting out, especially when some of them are never on time.

All I know is that it keeps getting pushed back. i've looked at Diamond's shipping updates and changes every now and then and it seems to move from June and July. And honestly, I CANNOT navigate Marvel's website, so I never know how to find books and release dates there.

I just need to know if it's got 2 issues to go or 1 before this story wraps.

After having fun searching through the Diamond Shipping Updates on I landed on 5/27/10 and collected this data:
Astonishing X-Men #34 Reg./Deadpool Var. > DEC090544-5 > [first listed as 02/10/10 then 02/17/10 then 03/10/10 then 03/17/10 then 03/24/10 then 03/31/10 then 04/07/10 then 04/14/10 then 04/21/10 then 04/28/10 then 05/12/10 then 05/19/10 then 05/26/10 then 06/16/10 and finally now 06/30/10]
So we should get it at the end of the month. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another delay, it's already been delayed over 14(!!!) times ;)

And yes, all of those dates were listed in the Shipping Updates. Each and every week it got updated. Seriously, it's pretty damn hilarious. "It'll be ready next week. Wait, next week. Oh, I mean next week. And I actually meant...

I talked to my retailer to see if he knew anything about Astonishing X-Men. What he told me was that Marvel has this plan set in motion where if a comic is several months late without being rescheduled then it's returnable, so by Marvel rescheduling Astonishing X-Men almost each week it won't be returnable. Crafty...
