Let's not forget Wally's obsession with it.

Veronica Mars is to Wally what Buffy is to Edbert. :D

Yea, how you could you have missed my incessant pimping of the series then my subsequent bitching & moaning about VM when it got cancelled?

I was also very much upset, though I got into the game far to late to make a dent. Watched the first two seasons over about 3 days when we got hit with a massive snow storm and were trapped inside, and at that point Season 3 was running its course and had been canceled.

I love love love love this show, as it was a perfect non-whedon whedon show. Thomas captured all the good things about joss's work and made it work for him too. Now let's hope we get that rumored film as well!

Joss Whedon wrote/directed the show? My hesitation to pick the show up has dissipated.

[Edit:] Wait, he only guest-starred in a few episodes. Ah well. I'll check it out anyways. Some of the best shows had limited life-spans. Firefly was beyond awesome and was worth watching, despite being only one season.

yea, whedon didn't direct or write any of the show at all, he was just a huge fan. But the show had the qualities, quirky humor, and style that a lot of his did, which is what drew me in.

There is more to Dick than meets the cock-eye.

Weevil is also a great character. He's much more complex than in the 2nd 2 seasons. He also does a lot of growing up while simultaneously falling back into bad habits.

If there's one complaint I have for Veronica Mars, it's that main cast members tend to disappear and reappear randomly over the course of a season. Wallace being gone for like 6 eps in Season 2, Wevil just coming and going every single episode.. there's no single character who's always around other than Veronica and her Dad, though they're the single best ones on that show.

If you get the chance, be sure to watch the 2nd pitch attempt to save Vmars for a potential 4th season when it was first axed. It's only like 10 minutes, but makes me wish they'd have gone ahead with either version of the show.

Did you download them or do you have the dvds? If it's the DVDs it's on the last disc, which is nothing but special features. If you dont have the dvds... I dunno :/

I downloaded it, but i checked around on Youtube and found it. they missed out with that season! I was hoping they would have concintrated on the FBI thing and not the Castles.

Well, when it got canned half way through Season 3, the creator pitched that whole 'jump ahead so many years and she's in the FBI training program' which would've been awesome, but I really wanted to know what happend to Logan, Wallace, etc.

But movie talk rumors were abounding last year, and Thomas said if he got it, it'd be back in college, and not the FBI.

I think the FBI would have alot of potential, but I thought in the scene it was her summer internship type thing. I could just see one of her first assignments would be to find Duncan and the baby too

Well that's just the thing, we never found out exactly what it was. I took it as this was her starting up AFTER a summer intership program, the way she references the guy who is apparently a new exboyfriend. But I dunno. Glad you really enjoyed it though!
