It appears Star Wars day is May 4th as chosen by fans of the films.

I'm not really sure what I'll do to commemorate this day. I might break out the old Chiewie costume and and stalk up and down the street growling and uttering incomprehensible sounds. But its raining and the costume will probably get wet and smelly...
