I guess kids in Europe started school early? I started with preschool when I was 4 but a lot of kids skip preschool and instead just start with kindergarten and then Grade 1-12.

I don't know how I feel about this.

A website is posting sketches from ECCC, they took two of mine and put them up.

http://comicbookcritic.net/2012/04/04/e ... 12-sketch/

I'm not sure I really like it.

I don't mind putting them up myself, but for another website to put them up to me seems a bit... off?
Mine didn't come from the artists tweets. They came from my tweets linked to the artists.

That's kinda crappy of them to do that. They should have at least credited whoever they took it from and notified them. You could always request they take it down.

Yeah, here in the US most won't enter a school until around 5. 3 sounds really early. What kind of school would that be?

And I'm still in school!! I'm just on the other side of the desk every day now.

And also Captain Jack is still in college, so I guess we can still consider him a "part" of our group even though he likely hasn't been on the website for a looooong time, lol.

Conroy especially had a ton of young teens.
Both Timm & Conroy are gaining more and more fame as the years go by (kind of like Bruce Campbell) due to their work on DCU animated properties. It won't be long before their signing events will become ticketed.

Oh shit! You've just been pirated!

Joking aside, e-mail the website and politely ask them to remove your sketches. I'd be uncomfortable with another website taking my materials posting them on their site too.

At 3, you enter preliminary school where you stay 3 years. Then at 6, you enter primary school where you learn to read an write in the first year.

Basically preliminary is there to "teach" the kids how to live together, I guess. They mostly do manual stuff, coloring, cutting pasting, you start with learning letters, numbers. Very basic stuff.

Nah, at such a young age, they'll be reckless enough to try and fight back. You need them older to teach them the proper art of surrendering.

I may e-mail them, it's not hurting anyone, and it lets people appreciate something that I have, i just found it really, really weird.

And I did post them on twitter and my CAF, so I can't say I am horribly surprised. It's just very strange to me.

Arn, did you do any type of party for Simon? And I assume it's effectivly pre-school you send them to?

They arrived today!! That was fast!!
Thank you so much for this!! I loved all of them. Rucka must have thought you mad to have sign so many comics! The Saga and SHIELD were nice surprises!
If there's anything I can do to make it up to you, let me know! (and remember my offer for the signed comics still stands)

I think I ended up with almost 30 things, books included for Rucka to sign.
He was extremely nice, one of the nicest guests I ever met.

I'm happy you like them. The one gotham central got a little well handled when Bru signed it, but what can you do?

I thought you may enjoy the Saga and Shield. I thought you were a Hickman fan?

I am! Big Hickman fan, here. Not surprised Rucka is a nice guy. That's how he "sounds" from I've read from him.

Hey, I'm closing in on the end of "A Dance with Dragons" and I've really enjoyed it so far. It's a lot better than A Feast for Crows, in my opinion.
