Brief rundown of swag.

2 Pia Guerra Y - The Last Man Sketches, 1 for MGM.
1 Herb Trimpe Wolverine Page
1 Free Neal Adams Batman sketch
1 Dale Eaglesham Cap. A sketch & 1 Steve Rodgers Super Soldier page

Amazing Spider-Man Annual 1
Con Variant drawn by Adams.

Toronto Fan Expo Cap. America 1 variant and Walking Dead 88.

Almost a complete run of Secret Warriors.

Fanastic Four 51.

Sadly no Stan Lee autograph.

I did however get a personal introduction and the chance to have a brief conversation with him, which is more than everyone else seemed to get.

I also spent a long time talking to the KIll Shakespeare guys. Anyone read it?

That's quite a swag.

Which reminds me that the Geurra sketch should go to my work, not my home address. I'll e-mail you the adres. Also, picture?

I'll get pictures up tomorrow.

I'm flying home in a few hours, and land at like 11pm. If I get a chance between packing and stuff I will, but probably not.

Sorry!

I will try and get the one I took of my and Pia with the two sketches up, though.

I believe I still have the extra hard flat thing that spalshpageart.com sent me my Christmas present from Krista in.

I think that will do nicely.

Otherwise a mylar, a couple pieces of cardboard, and do not bend should do it.

I'll need to check in Calgary.

A cylinder would be a bad idea.

Part two.

Mitch, I'm not quite sure what the size is. But its bigger than 8 by 10. I believe they may be 11 by 13, but they are all packaged up so I can't measure till tomorrow.

All those are great! That Eaglesham page is just lovely!
It's funny, Malorie started reading Y just 2 nights ago.

Eaglesham is probably the best penciller I have ever seen.

They are so good, he doesn't need an inker. They can just send it off to the colorist.

Those are all amazing. And I'm pretty sure Natascha will love that one, it looks great.

Too bad Eaglesham was full, his work is really, really good. I wouldn't have minded to get some of that as well.

What's that monster pic, though?

Oh yeah, and if you don't have that splashpageart thing anymore, cardboard will do just fine (if it's sturdy enough, I suppose four slates with the drawing in the middle should cover it pretty well).

I have a thin plastic mylar, 2 mil, as opposed to 4 or 5, that it is in to protect it. It will work just fine with a couple slabs of cardboard.

The monster pic, as in the one with the octopus?

Yeah, that one.

The mylar with a few slabs of cardboard sound like it should be enough to protect the paper well enough.

What're the shipping options anyway? There's likely one where I have to sign for getting the package. It might be more expensive, but in this case I think I would prefer that.

I'll get it insured, that comes with the signature option.

Every package comes with a basic $100 insurance. Overseas packages automatically habe a tracking number.

I'll be sure it's covered for $200, and has signed for delivery. It'll cost max, $5 more.

Those are all amazing sketches. My favorite is the YTLM ones.

How did you score a private meet & greet with Stan Lee? Usually his entourage prevents anyone from so much as breathing on him

They were having a buffet dinner with him. It was maybe 70 guests, including the con guests, like Gail Simone and Dale Eaglesham.

One of the guys running it were nice enough to introduce me and I got to sit down with him for a minute or two while he ate.

Not much, but still way better than you can hope for these days.
