So, for all those who got my cocky text message about soon getting Diggle and Jock's signiture, I assume you also got my following text which explained that I didn't.
Diggle didn't show up. Poo!
Jock recognised me though. Quite cool. I saw him ten minutes before he was set to do a game with other artists and writers on one of the stages. He was hanging out by Kieron Gillen and Jamie Mckelvie's table (nabbed their signitures earlier). When I went up to him and asked if he was doing any official signings he looked like he was thinking, "where do I remember seeing this person from?). I told him I was going to watch the artists vs. writers showdown, he said to stick around at the end and he would make sure Diggle signed the trade, but then of course Diggle no showed. I thanked Jock at the end anyway and then scampered to get Cornell's signiture at the Diamond booth.
Didn't realise Ellis was only going to be there for one afternoon, which was annoying, because I had heard the queues were tiny, which would have made for an easy signiture grab. London Expo isn't quite NYCC.
Cornell didn't look like he stayed for that long, because after I got his signiture, I then walked around one last time, went back to the Diamond booth to consider buying Freakangels and Cornell wasn't there anymore.
Anyway, in total I got photos and the following signed:
Gary Erskine - Dan Dare #1
Ben Templesmith - Fell tpb vol 1
Kieron Gillen and Jamie Mckelvie - Phonogram the Singles Club #1-7
Jock - The Losers: Ante up tpb vol 1

A little package arrived for me today.
Thanks Cameron! Much appreciated.
Hopefully Mr. Ellis will get a kick out of it, just like I did.
Hopefully I'll be able to locate the ellusive one at another event as well!
What did Stuart Immonem think of your request?
I'll be sure to keep you abreast of any rare Brit creator who's set to appear at any future event.

I can't actually remember everything I got signed by Ellis - apart from Gravel #1. Gravel #1 sticks out in my mind, because it's one of my favourite Ellis books and I already had Mike Wolfer's signiture on it. I'm pretty sure I would have got volumes 1 and 3 of Freakangels signed, since they've both been signed by Paul Duffield. But, I think I may have also got the big collection of Nextwave signed as well. Nextwave was awesome! I think I may have bought this during one of the NYCCs, but got round to reading it just before seeing Ellis at London MCMExpo.
Nextwave and Gravel are my favorites of Ellis, althought I find his new series to be not as good as the mini's, although that would probably be because he scripted the mini's, as opposed to just plotting.
Ellis is doing a tad too much plotting and not full out scripting these days for my taste, it looses a lot of quality.
