There is a dude just outside of Calgary selling a Daredevil 1. I might try and see if I can buy it for a decent price.
It would match my X-Men 1 nicely.

Major Comics booth is completely opposite of Artists Alley. There'll be the whole floor between you and the artists.
You're going to need strong shoulders and elbows to croos it.

If I go, there won't really be wondering off, so I am not concerned about thw distance. I'll spend a bit of time every morning as the shows opens I hope there, and thats about it.

Got a new piece of artwork for dirt cheap online, and a Fallen Angel Cover from the lot I bought.
The Fallen Angel art is beautiful.

Very nice indeed!
Hey, what's the lowest you've paid for a page?
I've seen an X-Men Bachalo page online for €100 and I'm tempted. It would be domestic shipping so the extra cost wouldn't kill too much.

The nextwave was $75.
Then $30 for the Woodward 11x17 sketch at New York.
Most start at $100.
100 Euros for an X-Men page is pretty good. Is it from a main X-Men title?

It's page 12 of Uncanny #363. Just realized it features no X-Men at all on the page. Just sentient Cerebro :
The thing is that I can't think of anywhere in the appartment where I could display it... :/

It is a very cool page.
Put it above the crib.

Wulf, Comic Con is a hop skip & a jump away. Is everything still a Go on your end as well as the guys you are traveling with?

Unfortuantly not, they could find a hotel room for less than $2000. Kind of pisses me off, since I wish they had checked all that stuff before asking me if I would go.
SDCC is a shitty show for selling, which makes it very hard to spend that cash, I guess.

I can't believe they would book retail space at SDCC and not care about accomodations. Sounds like they never heard of SDCC before...
Too bad for you. There was your chance to try and get stuff signed by BKV.

They had stuff for them, b ut couldn't fit another person into the hotel room.
But it wasn't like I'd be getting anything signed, it'd be too busy. I would've gotten one sketcth, and pretty much nothing else.

I can go to Wondercon in points, and the Montreal guys are going there. It's very tempting.
At the moment I can't get a flight back from Seattle on points.
(I have a shitload of frequent flyer miles I have to use, that's why I am going to a con. It all depends on the mile.)

That's cool about the miles points. I don't which of ECCC of Wondercon will have the better line-up for creators but it's nice to do a new one.
Oh and on a side note, I noticed yesterday that the Bachalo page is gone. Serves me right for being unsure about buying...
