Any opinions on the World Cup being hosted in Russia in '18 and Qatar in '22?
I think my siggy is haunted.

I was kinda hoping 2022 would go to the USA. Even if Quatar was the best option, in regards to time difference.
As for 2018, well I didn't have a favorite.
But this smells so much of oil-dollars that it's disgraceful.
Quatar is going to have to build completely closed stadium with air-conditioning. How do you provide air-conditioning for 12 +40,000 seats stadiums? The cost of this alone is staggering.

Not to mention Russia promised on stage to spend millions on the FIFA. Sure, they claim it'll go to the Cup, but we all know where the money will end up.
To be honest, although I would've loved the 2018 Cup to go to Holland and Belgium, I can't really see how we'd have to manage that (also, first round we got 4 votes, second round we got 2? Eh?)
Qatar is even more of a disgrace than Russia, in my opinion.
