Pandorum
As a fan of sci-fi and horror, I especially love sci-fi horror films. Unfortunately, a lot of them are crap but there are some real good films hidden among all the crap; Pandorum is one of them. The plot for Pandorum revolves around 2 cew members of a deep space ship waking from hyper sleep with no memory of who they are and what they are doing on the ship. Also on the ship are a race of unknown aliens who are prowling around killing the remaining members of the crew.
Pandorum isn't breaking any new ground with this film but thats not its intention. It's merely telling an already told sci-fi film in a different manner and trying to toss in a few surprises along the way - which I thought were well done. The only criticism I have of this film is that its pretty long, which I didn't mind at all but might make others feel like its dragging.
Any sci-fi and/or horror fans should give this film a look. Additionally the film stars Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. I'm not really too big of a fan of Quaid but Foster, I think is a really intense actor. His portrayal of a cold blooded killer in 3:10 to Yuma was amazing.
