The Burrowers

I had about this film months ago and I finally saw it 2 weeks ago and was enjoyable enough for me to reccomend.
The Burrowers is a western horror that takes place in the territories of the Americas right after the Civil War.
It stars William Mapother (LOST), and Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor hisself). Members of a family are brutally killed and others seemingly taken hostage late one night. The culprits are believed to be Indians. The next day the local sheriff assembles a posse to track down the indians. Along the way they are met with a Union cavalry who have heard about the attack and are also tracking the Indians.
But it turns out that the killers weren't Indians at all. They weren't even human. The real culprit is something far more sinister, far more...EVIL. <wwwooooooohhhhhhhhoooooooo>
I reccomend this film if you like western's & horror. It's not too gratuous or gorey. There are a few unusually violent scenes but they fit with the nature and time that the movie is taking place. There's no gore for shock value so torture porn enthusiasts turn thee away.
