Celebrity Sightings

Apparently the place where I work is a bit of a hotspot for movie shoots.

Right now they are filming a movie called The Other Men. So far I've spied Marky Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Will Ferrel & Eva Mendez.

A co-worker of mine took a quick photo with Marky Mark.

Marky Mark is usually surrounded by body guards most of the time. And though he took a photo with my friend, I hear it's a dick in real life.

Also he's not that tall either.

I wanted to pinch Eva Mendez' bottom but decided against it. Inappropriate touching is frowned upon in today's society.

Past celebrities who have I seen here are Tina Fey & Amy Poehler (for those not familiar, Fey is on a television show called 30 Rock and became famous for her Sarah Palin parody during last year's Presidential election), Jack McBrayer (also on 30 Rock), Terrance Howard, Tatum Channing, the cast of Sex and the City, Queen Latifah (now she is a big woman).

I once spotted Queen Elizabeth II when I was in London. Does that count?

Dude, I would have gone to great lengths to get my pic taken with Samuel L. Jackson.

Does Joe Quesada count as a celebrity?

I saw him sauntering down the street yesterday after I left work. I had this tremendous urge to yell out "ONE MORE DAY SUCKED" but then I realized I was in a public place and I should not be a dick to a total stranger despite strongly feeling like he shafted a character with decades of rich history against the wishes of his employees, fans, peers and common sense to push through his, and his vision alone, of what the character should be.

You should have just slapped him.

I haven't spotted any new celebrities lately, but today a film is being shot right outside my building. It's looks like it'll be a period piece set in the 30s or 40s. They've lined the streets with oldschool automobiles and a lot of the actors/extras are wearing old fashioned suits and bowler hats. Pretty much all the women are wearig ankle length skirts, with equally long coats and have their hair done up in the classic manner, and the ones that are smoking, are doing it from cigerette holders; street level shops have been redone to look as stores did in during the 40s.

Now all thats left is to find out who is in it and who is directing.

:censored:

So I learned it is a mini-series being filmed by HBO and managed to snag a few quick pics. The crew members are very strict and prohibit flash photography as they don't want any unauthorized pics circulating the interwebs (unlikely and unrealistic as that may be).

More sightings!

Two weeks ago the TV show White Collar was being filmed on my street. I saw actress Tiffany Amber Theissen & the lead character whose-name-I-can't-remember,

Today they are filming something else here. Don't know who or what is being filmed yet but I shall find out.

EDIT

Just found out; they are wrapping up filming of White Collar.. Now to see if I can spot any celebs.

Last week Adam was in California on business. parked across the street from the office and a car alarm went off next to him. Guy that plays Taub on House came out to check his. It was a brief encounter but very cordial. ^_^

Personally I think she looks much better now than she ever did. Thiessen always looked hott (and still does) but now in addition to looking hott she looks much...better and more vibrant, basically like a full bodied real woman.

Chimera, I had to google Taub to figure out who he was. I haven't watched House in over 2 years.

Oh yeah, I wasn't familiar with her teenage years. At least not regularly to know that's who she was. I actually got 'introduced' to her when she was older and an adult so to speak in a few other movies and tv appearances, and only years later made the connection to her younger years, since Saved by the Bell was going out as I was coming in for my age range. Yeah, that's what I meant I hoped she still looked like because that's what I'm familiar with.

And to me, it's still fantastic.
