Just watched it. Only pulling power it has on me is Dushku. Well, and Whedon, but I'm not a Whedonite like some people here.
Anyway, premise is not bad, but not great either. And the episode was't really selling it either. I guess I'll catch the next episode as well to make up my mind properly.
Also, what a SCANDALOUS dress Dushku was wearing in the first scene.

I agree. The commercials made it seem as though DOLLHOUSE was some type of shadowy off-the-books spy agency that helped people. The first half of the first episode made it seem like DOLLHOUSE is a glorified brothel for the super wealthy. Right now I'm unsure of what DOLLHOUSE really is (as I'm sure many others are).

I think the premise might best be described as a paid for Global Frequency with 'activates' who have their personality wiped for whatever fits the purpose. Instead of getting the right person, like GF does.
Also, the first scene strengthened my belief in the hotness of Dushku.
They did start to weave several plots and obvious plotlines for the future in the first episode, I'll give them that. But it wasn't a very gripping first episode.

She does "pissed off badgirl" very well. Hell that was what the first 5-10 minutes were when she was speaking to that woman. During that entire scene, it felt she was channeling the episodes on ANGEL where she was trying to seek redemption.
Secretly I agree, but I cannot since my devoting love for Dushku is well-known. And let's face it, every actress looks worse in real life than on screen.
It's the question of how much worse.
Dushku's biggest plus is the shape she is in, which is very, very good, with a very nice.
But you go to a very cool club or anything like that and you see plenty of girls that look as good, or better than her.
