As a game based movie, this was "film" was destined to be mediocre but I was okay with that. I was just looking for some cheap and entertaining film-fun based off one of my favorite games and characters.
The film had a lot of problems like the acting, dialog and story; they were sub-par but that wasn't my problem. It was the gods awful casting of Chris Klein as Charlie Nash and Moon Bloodgood as Maya. All the other characters were okay (mostly) but Chris Klein was awful in every scene he was in -and being Charlie Nash- he was in a lot of scenes. His chemistry with the character of Maya (Moon Bloodgood) was so forced and fake I didn't buy it for even a second of a moment.
No f'ing wonder his career died after American Pie
Chris Klein aside, I enjoyed the film for what it was. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who isn't a hardcore gaming fan.
