Depressing???

Ok yea, it had it's majorly sad moments, but that ending was so so so worth it. I loved this film, and I get the desire to watch it about once ever 2-3 weeks. Once everything fell into place halfway through and I realized what was going on I was totally hooked.

I'm even in love with the soundtrack. I didn't find a single thing that I hated about this movie.

Also, Frieda Pinto is absolutely gorgeous. A truly incredibly beautiful woman.

The ending was indeed amazing; it was tense, and heart pounding and ultimately provided great and well deserved happily ever after for the two. What depressed me about this film was that every time the main character tried to save the girl, she'd get snatched away from him. The third time she was taken away from him I damn near turned it off; not because it was repetitive but because it was so damn sad.

Yea, I agree. when she showed up at the train station and we finally saw the shot we'd seen glimpses of, with him way up above her, I was so happy, until that look on his face showed us it wouldn't last. I actually was terrified she wouldn't make it through that last one.
