Hellboy: Sword of Storms (Animated Film)

A nice way to wile away 100+ minutes. Ron Pearlman & Selma Blair voice Hellboy and Elizabeth along with a few other returning cast member from the live action film. The animation is very nice, on par with a lot of DC animated films and tv shows, with the exception of Hellboy. Hellboy's body is this massive slab of muscle but his legs are ridiculously thin and tiny.
The story takes place in Japan where a couple of old demons are trying to return to Earth after being imprisoned in a sword. Hellboy and co. are sent there to investigate and while investigating Hellboy is seperated from his team and forced to go on a quest. The quest is uses a lot of ancient Japanese folklore but is peppered with a lot of humor and Hellboy's trademark dry wit.
Overall Sword of Storms is enjoyable. I would recommend it to people who like animated films and want a taste of something other than Marvel or DC.
