WANTED

Post by Mr Wallstreet »

Meh, it was an okay film. Nothing more than a bland action film. You'd never know it was based off a comic if they hadn't told you it was. And speaking of that, they changed much of the story from the comic to make it seem less ridiculous. That didn't bother me so much either.

I found this movie to be a trainwreck, to be honest. Even as a mere action movie it bored me.

I agree. The bullet shots were so far beyond ridiculous. The story changes from the comic were atrocious, too.
Loom of Destiny?

It reminded me of Shoot 'Em Up. It was made over the top on purpose, to the point of actually mocking normal action films. Or so I hope it was, lol. I enjoyed it, but as I've argued with Jack on many occasions, I enjoy almost everything I see (it takes a lot for me to not like a movie).

I feel it disassociated itself from the comic too much, where when nothing but a sliver of the concept was the same. Kinda like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...

With the notable difference that Millar was on board for Wanted. And possible sequals. I hope not.

And Angelina Jolie only did it to get Changeling green lit, I understand.
