This news is a week old but I'm psyched for it. Love, love the Legend of Zelda and everything about it. Right off the top, I hope they make it a light hearted action/adventure film in the vein of Guardians of the Galaxy and not grim like the Hunger Games.

I saw an old interview with Robin Williams in which he described the Legend of Zelda as a hack and slash game but a cute hack and slash game

I am soon to be 36 and in my entire life, though I owned a Game Boy and a SNES, I have played a grand total of 5mn of Zelda. It didn't grab me. AT ALL.

Eh. Zelda was fun for a bit while playing the game, but I never saw the big appeal that holds so many people.
