The Flash

Well, that first episode was pretty good. I thought the crush on Iris came out of the blue, though. Especially with his intro on Arrow and him and Felicity being completely head over heels. No mention of that whatsoever. Oh well, it was the only minor thing. I wonder how the show will be without so many special effects.

I guess I should see Arrow and get on with the train.

Yeah, the show was pretty interesting.

It's very done by the numbers, but it is done well, so I'm not complaining on that front.

First episode has ended by setting up:
- Love interest for the lead, which he can't get (Iris)
- Point of comparison character who lead is jealous of (Iris's bf)
- Potential secondary love interest (one of the STAR labs crew)
- Support team
- 2 x advisor characters who are different (lieutenant and professor)
- Duel life, which he must balance
- basic weekly goal (get to and/or apprehend other 'metas')
- Long term mystery 1 - Mother's death
- Long term mystery 2 - Professor what's his face

The first episode did all of the above and did them all in a way that was easy to follow. Pretty good really.

Well, this turns out to be the most fun comic-show to watch at the moment. Not too dark, funny and still a few interesting secrets to unravel.
